"Cocktails here are, IMHO, some of the best (if not the best) in downtown Fullerton. Both my wife and I had amazing cocktails, and will definitely come back for that alone. I got the summer breeze cocktail (it was a little hot outside), and it was made perfectly: you could taste the mezcal through the whole drink and it was made by someone who knew what they were doing. My wife ordered a paloma, and it was one of the best we've ever had."

"Where do I even begin! I've been here before for dinner and really enjoyed it so why not host my Goddaughter's bridal shower. I spoke to Brianne who's the Event Director. Let me tell you, she was the most sweetest and attentive to all my 100 questions. Never seemed bothered or did not reply to emails. The total opposite! "My husband and I went to Hidalgos for a last minute date night and we were not disappointed! We made it at nearly closing but the staff was kind and welcoming--we didn't feel like a burden at all. We wanted something on the lighter side so we ordered from the Taco Tuesday menu. Carnitas, carne asada, and shrimp tacos x2 and they were all delicious! The carnitas was cooked and seasoned perfectly, most places I find it fatty and salty, but not here. The shrimp taco was the star of the show--adobo crema and no skimping on the shrimp. Don't miss it!"

"The queso fundido is so unique here and a step above other restaurants. The sangria is still the best from anywhere. We order sangria from places near and far, and nothing tops the sangria at Hidalgo. I would also like to give a shout out to the server named Chas.
